CALSC (Communication and Learning Skills Centre) is a small organisation run by Jane E. Mitchell, a speech and language therapist and dyslexia teacher.
The main objective of CALSC is to help students of any age to achieve their goals, whether that be to learn to talk, read, spell or study to pass Common Entrance, GCSE, A-Level, degree or professional examinations. All students studying for exams can learn techniques to increase their efficiency and effectiveness in revision and examinations. Skills such as improved memory, organisation, self-motivation, confidence and speed reading can be taught. We believe that with appropriate input and motivation people can be helped to reach their potential.
Jane is especially interested in developing teaching materials and memory techniques. Products that CALSC develops are available for purchase on this site as well as at conferences and exhibitions.
